1.0Conquering infection.Penicillin and vaccines ended the era when a scratch could end a life at thirty-five. For the first time, most of us lived long enough to grow old.
2.0Reacting to disease.Living longer surfaced a new kind of enemy: slow diseases that build for decades. The system we have now waits for them to arrive, then reacts — twelve-minute visits, prescriptions after the fact.
3.0Getting ahead. The next evolution: medicine that moves first. Proactive. Precise. Personal. This is where KINESIS practices.
02
What we're up against
Four forces decide the length of a life.
IAtherosclerosisHeart attack and stroke — a narrowing that begins silently, decades early.
IIMetabolic diseaseInsulin resistance and visceral fat, quietly driving the other three.
IIICancerThe wild card — a risk that compounds quietly with age, inflammation, and time left unexamined.
IVCognitive declineThe slowest thief — changes that begin decades before the first symptom.
Every one of them starts long before it speaks. That is the opportunity.
03
The Answer
There is a way to get ahead of all four.
It starts with movement.
The body repairs itself in motion. Strength, capacity, recovery — how well you move is the strongest single predictor of how long you live. So before anything else, one job comes first: keep you moving.
KINESIS— Greek for movement.
Movement is the medicine. Everything we do is built on it.
04
Three disciplines · one timeline: yours
Each stage has its own medicine.
The PastRegenerative Sports MedicineInjuries addressed quickly — your doctor comes to you. Rehabilitation that sticks, and regenerative options when they're truly warranted.
The PresentFunctional MedicineRoot-cause diagnostics. Continuous evaluation of every system. Multi-disciplinary intervention.
The FutureLongevity MedicineDeep measurement — VO₂ max, body composition, genetics & epigenetics — all leading to advanced therapies chosen to bend the curve of aging.
One practice carries all three.
05
How it works
Before we move, we measure.
You can't treat what you haven't seen. Care begins with the full picture — advanced biometrics, imaging, and historic analysis — assembled before a single decision is made. From it, one plan: continuous, integrated, entirely yours.
06
Membership
A limited practice. By design.
You manage everything at the highest level; your healthcare shouldn't be the exception. KINESIS accepts a limited number of members each year, and every membership begins with a conversation.
Direct access to your doctor.
Not a portal. Not a call center. A physician who knows your whole story — and answers, especially when you need them.
Dr. Ajami received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University, earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Miami, and holds a Bachelor of Science in applied physiology and kinesiology from the University of Florida. He trained for three years in both internal medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Miami and Emory University School of Medicine.
He reframes musculoskeletal health and human performance as the foundation of how we age, move, and feel. With a rare background spanning internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and over a decade of licensed myofascial practice, Dr. Ajami has worked with professional athletes across the NBA, NFL, and PGA — and brings that same standard of performance medicine to every KINESIS member.
He founded KINESIS on a straightforward premise: most people with musculoskeletal pain never find the source. They are managed, not understood — referred from specialist to specialist without anyone holding the full picture. KINESIS is the answer to that gap.
"Good health isn't the goal. It's what makes the goals possible. Not just longevity. Resilience. Medicine for the Art of Living."
Published work & podium presentations span interventional pain management, sports medicine, and rehabilitation research — AMSSM, Emory Sports Medicine Symposium, and peer-reviewed journals.

A graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina and recipient of the South Carolina Physical Therapy Student of the Year Award, Dr. Motlong later trained at EXOS with more than 30 NFL Combine athletes. He has worked with professional, collegiate, and youth athletes and most recently served as the personal physical therapist for international recording artist Shakira during her world tour.
